Everything you need to know before buying. If something isn't covered here, it's by design — we keep things simple.
Payments
Why only Monero? ▼
Monero (XMR) is the only cryptocurrency with real privacy built in by default. Bitcoin and most altcoins leave a permanent public trail. With XMR, your transaction is unlinkable, untraceable, and undetectable by third parties. It matches the product — we sell privacy, we practice it.
How long do confirmations take? ▼
We require 3 on-chain confirmations. Each Monero block takes roughly 2 minutes, so total wait time is around 6–10 minutes after you send. The checkout page polls automatically every 30 seconds — you don't need to do anything. Just keep the page open.
I sent XMR but nothing happened — what do I do? ▼
First, make sure you sent the exact amount shown — down to the last decimal. If the amount doesn't match exactly, the system won't detect it. If you sent the right amount and it's been more than 30 minutes, save your Order ID and check back later — the polling loop runs continuously and will pick it up once the wallet syncs.
Do you accept Bitcoin or other coins? ▼
No. XMR only. This isn't going to change.
Do you have discount codes? ▼
Yes. Coupon codes can be entered at checkout or on any bundle page. Check our posts on Dread or the darknet directories we're listed on for active codes. Current launch codes: try GHOST20 for 20% off any order.
Privacy & anonymity
Do you log anything? ▼
No server logs. No IP logs. No cookies set by us. No analytics. No account required. The only data stored is your Order ID and XMR amount — nothing that identifies you. On the .onion address your IP is never seen by anyone but the Tor network. On sedins.com, traffic passes through Cloudflare, which sees your IP like any clearnet CDN — use the .onion if that matters to you.
Do I need to create an account? ▼
No. There are no accounts on GhostLayer. Your Order ID is the only thing you need to re-download your purchase. Save it.
Is this site accessible on the clearnet? ▼
Yes — at
sedins.com. It's the same shop, orders and downloads as the .onion. For maximum privacy use the .onion address in
Tor Browser: bbwyzhhrj6jrw5tjgq2haybdyug5j7swhebmxqsosriwqjtorudy7oid.onion
Products & downloads
What format are the guides? ▼
PDF. All guides are clean, well-formatted PDFs with no DRM, no watermarks, no tracking pixels. Read them offline, on any device.
Can I re-download after purchase? ▼
Yes, indefinitely. Use the URL: /api/download/[your-order-id]. As long as the site is running, your download link works. Save your Order ID somewhere safe — it's your only proof of purchase.
My download link returns an error — what do I do? ▼
Make sure your payment is confirmed first (status must be "paid", not "pending"). If payment is confirmed and the download still fails, the server may be restarting — try again in a few minutes. If the issue persists after 1 hour, post on Dread with your Order ID prefix (first 8 characters only).
What's the difference between beginner, advanced, and elite guides? ▼
Beginner — no prior knowledge assumed. Concepts explained from scratch with step-by-step instructions.
Advanced — assumes you know the basics. Goes into technical depth, configuration, and edge cases.
Elite — adversarial, architecture-level, or professional-grade content. Not suitable as a first guide on a topic.
